‘Weed’ Pastor Kwabena Adjei Charged with ‘Threat of Death’ and ‘Offensive Conduct Conducive to Breach of Peace’ At First Court Date

The pastor who was arrested for threatening the life of EC boss Jean Mensa has been charged with one count each of threat of death and offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace during his first court date.

Kwabena Adjei Owusu, who was found with weed in his possession during his arrest, also faces an additional charge of possessing narcotic drugs.

The pastor was arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court earlier today June 9th 2020 following his arrest and pleaded not guilty to all 3 charges.

As already reported, Kwabena Adjei recorded a live show in which he attacked EC boss Jean Mensa, the President and many other NPP bigwigs, alleging a revolution is coming like the June 4th one to wipe them out.

Following his broadcast, Honourable Kennedy Agyapong lodged a complaint with the BNI who picked him up earlier today.

The pastor was allegedly in possession of narcotic drugs – weed – when he was arrested.

He has been remanded into police custody for two weeks until his next court date.
