Bipolar Patient Abena Korkor Writes Emotional Letter To Duncan-Williams

Renowned University of Cape Coast alumni, Abena Korkor Addo who some time ago leaked her indecent videos online has penned an emotional message to Archbishop Duncan Wiliams.

This comes after Daniel Duncan-Williams, Duncan-Williams’ youngest son released his adult content videos on Twitter.

Reacting to that, Abena Korkor who has the same medical condition as Daniel Duncan Williams has shared some thoughts on how to deal and relates with people with bipolar disorder.

She wrote;

I live with bipolar disorder. I live a full life with support from my family, my boyfriend,my colleagues, my friends and followers.
There are times I posted nudes, spoke about a lot private and sensitive information. I was easily irritated and filled with racing thoughts. The world only sees what looks like fun or deviant behavior.
Sometimes treatment is not easy, the burden on family and friends is not easy.
A lot of people are suffering quietly. Some not seeking treatment or accepting treatment because of the stigma and discrimination they will face.
We need to educate ourselves as a society about mental health challenges. Government needs to put more resources into mental health care.
