Some Ghanaians on social media have roasted the Electoral Commission for their cluelessness after they released an entire statement to cry out about some media houses still using their ‘old-new’ logo to represent them.
The EC, after moving to new leadership, reverted their logo back to the old one in use before the Charlotte Osei led leadership spent a boatload of taxpayer money designing a new one.
However it seems the media continues to use the Charlotte Osei logo to represent the body, leading their communications department to release a statement asking for the right logo to be used.
“It has come to the attention of the Commission that a number of media houses continue to use the old logo of the Commission when carrying stories on the Electoral Commission,” the statement read.
“This comes to inform you that on Tuesday the 4th of December 2018, the Commission unanimously decided to revert to the original logo of the institution,”
However, Ghanaians were not too impressed with the statement and descended on the EC for concentrating on useless things when more important issues abound.
