During the early hours of Wednesday, it was revealed by controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo that socialite cum realtor Raymond Igbalode a.k.a. Hushpuppi has been arrested in Dubai.
It all remained rumors bagged with lots of speculations until now— Commissioner of Police (CP) INTERPOL, Garba Umar, has now confirmed his arrest.
According to CP Garba in an interview with TheNation, it is true that Hush has been arrested and they are currently working on bringing him down to Nigeria to face the full extent of the law.
“It is true that Hushpuppi was arrested by the INTERPOL. We are currently working on bringing him to Nigeria to face charges of fraud.
“Some of the offenses were committed here in Nigeria and he has to answer for them. He is not alone in it; there are accomplices in the country who we are currently on their trail.”

Hushpuppi and his friends were arrested on the grounds of defrauding the U.S of over $100 million COVID Relief Funds meant for Americans to fight against the pandemic.
