The Criminal Investigations Department of The Ghana Police Service has revealed its intention to soon launch investigations into the various allegations made by MP for Assin Central, Ken Agyapong against some supposed fake men of God.

The controversial MP has taken it upon himself to expose the so-called evil and criminal practices of persons he has tagged as ‘fake men of God’.

Using his Net2 Tv platform, Mr. Agyapong has made damning revelations about some men of God, accusing them of murder, money laundering, tax evasion, among others.

Reacting to questions bordering on the MP’s crusade, Accra Regional CID PRO, DSP Juliana Obeng revealed that the department will certainly look into the MP’s allegations.

DSP Obeng also disclosed that the police administration is in the process of providing the lawmaker with additional security, considering the work he has decided to do.
