A few days ago, Multimedia Group Limited, the owners of Joy Fm released a statement informing the general public that five of their staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
This unfortunate but bold announcement by the media giants was immediately followed by a public statement from Gary Al-Smith, who admitted to being one of the five persons who tested positive for the disease.
Tonight, however, the prominent journalist has made a worrying statement via his social media handles, promising to expose significant lapses he has witnessed as far as Ghana’s case management is concerned.
He wrote, “Ghana’s health system, especially on COVID-19 management, is incredibly messed up. Learnt so much these past days. Tomorrow, I begin writing and speaking about the lapses I have witnessed. If you’re a government communicator or are paid to insult people, get ready to earn your salary. Otherwise, I’m doing well”.
