Television and Radio personality, Mzgee has finally disclosed what actually informed her decision to quit Multimedia Group Limited, where she had worked for about 5 years.
Gloria Akpene Acquah, popularly known as Mzgee, left Multimedia in 2019 to join Media General, a move which was very surprising at the time, considering how far she had risen at Multimedia.
At the time, Mzgee attributed her decision to leave to a quest to try new things. In a conversation with Graphic Showbiz at the time, she outlined the following as her reasons for deciding to part ways with the media giants.
“At Multimedia I felt I had hit the ceiling, there was nothing else for me to do, I had done it all so going to a place where I would do radio and television again, knowing that I had been off the radio for a while, it looked promising.
I was not going to start from the scratch, I had built some reputation for myself, so I was happy going to surmount another challenge, I didn’t have a lot to look back on,” she stated,” she told the Graphic Showbiz”.
However, after about a year, Mzgee has finally dropped the real reason why she left Multimedia, accusing some of her colleagues at the media heavyweights of being bitter and resorting to backbiting her.
In an explosive interview with Nkonkonsa, Mzgee said she left Multimedia because there were too many bitter people there who couldn’t stand her presence.
