More details have emerged about the life and crimes of Nigeria’s most infamous fraudster, Ray Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi is currently in prison in the United Arab Emirates after he was arrested him for committing fraud over the tune of $400m.
In just a few days since his arrest Hushpuppi has become a global sensation with major publications all across the world reporting on his magical life of crime.
The latest to do so is the Daily Mail newspaper in the UK, who reveal their own investigations into Hushpuppi.
One thing many don’t know about the fraudster is that he started off as a ‘second hand clothes dealer’ in Lagos, according to the Daily Mail.
According to the Daily Mail: “Mr Abbas (Hushpuppi) started out as a secondhand-clothes trader in Lagos before claiming to be a billionaire property developer in Dubai.
“He says he posts about his luxury life to inspire others to make more of their lives,” their report added.
MailOnline adds that the FBI will push for Hushpuppi to be extradited to the US to face trial there.
