Popular Ghanaian singer, Kwabena Kwabena has reacted to claims by veteran musician Kontihene that he discovered him. According to the singer, Kontihene’s claims are ridiculous.

The “Bue Kwan” hitmaker was speaking on Accra FM reacting to allegations by Kontihene against him of being a drug addict and a womanizer.

Kontihene has persistently denigrated the singer, saying he is ungrateful, a womanizer, and a drug addict among others.

However, In response, Kwabena Kwabena said “Before I met Kontihene, I was already a vocalist at Hush Hush studios at Hammer studios and Tinny can attest to that fact. I worked on Tony’s album before Kontihene met me. He came to look for me, I worked with Kwaw Kese, name them”

On the allegations of drugs, he said “for Kontihene to make allegations that I’m on drugs he should get ready, I shall take him to court. You don’t do that, he should be very careful, maybe he wants to do something and is riding on my name, that can be OK, but to go that length to denigrate me is not appropriate. He should be very careful”
