A member of the defunct Shatta Wale Militants who left the tutelage of the self-acclaimed dancehall king under a cloud, Natty Lee has broken his silence concerning his working relationship with his former mentor.
Natty Lee who was speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, revealed that he wrote his own songs even before proceeding to his mentor’s studios.
He explained that even though all his songs were mastered at Shatta Wale’s studio, he did all the vocals at a mini-studio he put together in his own house.
He refuted his former boss’ claims that they are lazy, emphasizing that he has never been lazy. According to him, since they were in a group, it is normal for Shatta to generalize things but he was strong in his conviction that he is not lazy.
Shatta Wale parted ways with his signees whom he had labelled as militants a couple of months ago, accusing them among other things of being lazy and unserious.
