A Ghanaian lady has narrated the sad story of how she took a loan for her husband who then dumped her and married another woman.
Debbie Neequaye, 30 years of age, narrated her very sad story to Kingdom Plus Fm.
According to Debbie, her husband, who started giving her attitude after she gave birth for him, lied to her that he needed the money to start a business.
However, he simply took it, dumped her and went for another woman.
She said: “I moved to stay with the man because I was too much in love with him and he also convinced me that because he did not want to lose me I had to move to settle with him.
“We went into beads making and got pregnant along the line, he was very supportive in everything until it got to a point where his behaviour changed. He requested for money to go for goods, so out of love I secured a loan amount of Ghs 80,000.00 for him, little did I know he had a lady somewhere and they were planning a wedding.
Debbie said she did not know about it until she went on Facebook one day only to be met with pre-wedding photos of the man she thought was her husband.
“People said a lot to me but I looked beyond that and moved on in life. I became furious with men after going through that.” she said.
She added that she suffered depression due to the incident and it was only the encouragement of her friends and family which has kept her alive.
