Ghana’s two most attention-seeking stars have gotten together for the most attention-seeking stunt of all time.

Wendy Shay and her partner Shatta Wale are about to release a new single.

However, the two have timed the single so it would be released on Beyonce’s birthday, September 4th.

Shay took to Twitter to announce the upcoming single.

“On the 4th of September this Friday , Is my Godmother @Beyonce ‘s birthday And I’ll be releasing a Banger with my Godfather @shattawalenima Thank you Godfather for the link This is Spiritual,” she tweeted.

Wendy Shay as we all know calls herself the Beyonce of Ghanaian music even though she couldn’t even win a voltic bottle at Saturday night’s VGMA.

Shatta Wale, on the hand, recently released his own song with Beyonce, ‘Already’.

So these two apparently think they’re now some kind of Beyonce buddies so everything they do must be centred around Beyonce’s life.

Too bad for Wendy Shay because attention seeking stunts would not make her a factor in Ghanaian music until she releases good enough songs to cement her legacy.
