Kumawood actor and popular stuntman, Andrews Mensah aka Scorpion, has reportedly survived an assassination attempt.

There are flying reports that gunmen attempted to murder him earlier today in his house.

The report claims that the gunmen sneaked into his home in the early hours of today, Friday September 11th 2020 and tried to kill him.

He apparently sustained massive injuries trying to escape and has been admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

He apparently survived injuries to his rib, thighs and other body parts.

Speaking to the media, his brother claims that the gunmen were hired assassins and implored the police to arrest his killers.

“My brother told me when the assailants got to him, one said kill him and let’s go so it was obvious they were just there to kill him,” he told Luv Fm.

“He was their target so they run after him when he escaped and shot him twice before he [Scorpion] got help from neighbours,” he added.

Scorpion is still receiving treatment at KATH.
