A senior lecturer of the Univesity of Ghana Law Faculty, Prof Emmanuel Yaw Benneh has reportedly been killed in his house at Adjirigano, East Legon.
According to reports, he was murdered in the same style politician JB Adu Danquah was murdered.

Reporting the heart-wrenching incident, colleague lecturer Dr Poku Adusei wrote on social media;
‘Folks, I had wanted not to be the breaker of such ominous news, but the calls are incessant: The world is damned evil; Prof. Yaw Benneh of Legon Law has been ‘murdered’ in JB-style in his Adjirigano mansion. It appears to be an act perpetuated about three days ago, but it was just discovered this morning.RIPP Wofa Yaw‘
A houseboy of the late lecturer, Isaac Botchway noted he last sighted him on Thursday.
“I called him the next day [Friday], but he did not respond. The gardener came to work this morning [Saturday] and when he did not find any sign of him, he knocked at his door but there was no response,”
According to the houseboy, the gardener made a report to a sister of Prof Benneh who stays close by and with the help of a carpenter they broke into his room.
Unfortunately, they met his lifeless body tied in cold blood!
The body has been conveyed by the police and investigations launched into the matter.
