Actress Moesha Boduong has spoken out for the first time to react to viral news that she had plans to commit suicide.
Moesha put everyone in a state of fear and panic when she posted on Instagram what appeared to be a suicide note.
Moesha wrote: “Soon I shall become a memory.. waiting to be erased,”
The post clearly looked like a suicide note, especially coming after Xandy Kamel posted a very similar message a day prior.
Other celebrities even felt the need to call on her not to take her life.
After swimming in attention for a couple of days, Moesha has now come out to deny she wanted to kill herself.
According to her, she was expressing sadness over the death of a friend and it had nothing to do with her.

“I posted that because a friend is dead and I was just thinking about life. Life is short so we should enjoy it to the fullest. I’m perfectly fine and I haven’t thought of committing suicide,” she clarified.
“I’m currently in Tarkwa working on a movie. I will never commit suicide. I want to assure everyone that I’m doing fine and that post was meant for a departed friend”, Moesha added.
