Gone Too Soon! Tears Flow As 14-year Old Star of Citi TV’s Keyboard Idol Dies In Car Crash

The unfortunate rash of car accident deaths in Ghana continue to hit at a very alarming rate.

Almost every day you hear sad news of people dying in car accidents and nothing is being done about it.

The latest victim of a car accident death is 14-year old Chris Tamakloe, a contestant on Citi TV’s talent show Keyboard Idol.

He died in an accident, although exact details of the incident are yet to be released.

Citi TV took to social media this morning to announce his demise.

“It’s with immense pain and sadness that we announce the loss of the extraordinarily-talented Chris Tamakloe, one of the contestants on Citi TV’s Keyboard Idol Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and everyone affected by his passing,” a tweet from their Twitter handle revealed.

Chris was one of 10 chosen finalists for the novel talent show from Citi TV which was searching for Ghana’s next keyboard star.

Chris made the final ten after the channel received 100s of entries from all over Ghana. There was no doubt he was extremely talented.

His death is just the latest in a string of accidents happening all over the country.

Last weekend, a bus filled with young footballers was in an accident, killing many of them.

Car accidents remain extremely frequent and deadly in Ghana due to bad roads and bad driving practices.

It has become even worse as the festive period approaches and more lives are pointlessly being lost.
