Serwaa Amihere is eternally in trouble. Every day, there’s something controversial surrounding her neck. I wonder how she sleeps at night.
Social media users are generally the ones fighting her, but every once in a while, a politician or public figure takes her on.
You would recall how she was heavily trolled after being embarrassed by Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
This time, Member of Parliament for Okaikoi Central, Hon Patrick Yaw Boamah, is the one landing blows on Amihere.
Their fight broke out after Amihere spotted a photo showing a rickety wooden bridge built at an undisclosed location with a sign saying it was sponsored by the Hon Boamah.
Amihere shared the photo and said it was appalling that an MP would be celebrating a mediocre achievement like that.
“I hope this is not real. How can this be a project to highlight by an MP? How?” Amihere posted.
That triggered the MP who hit back on Twitter with some very strong words against Amihere.
He wrote: “Dear @Serwaa_Amihere, I wish you CHECK your FACTS well and stop being stupid for advertising your ignorance on your media Outlet. You always lack professionalism and media ethics,”.
Amihere also fired back at the MP: “Your tweet disproves nothing and there is no other fact to check as the picture is quite clear. Also, if this is truly the official twitter handle for the MP’s campaign, then your language is appalling and doesn’t reflect the conduct of a man whose name is preceded by Honourable.”
The MP after realizing he had been exposed and embarrased, deleted his tweet and found some hole to hide in.
