Ghanaian-American comedian Michael Blackson has announced a plan to build a school for children in his village to be able to access education.
Blackson is on a trip to Ghana and announced the amazing initiative in a post on his Instagram handle.
Blackson has come back to his ‘roots’ and travelled to his village where he was spotted at a site alongside some children.
Blackson announced that the site is for a school he’s setting up and that by the time 2021 rolls around it will be completed and the kids can be in school.
“Only thing that matters to me are the kids. Education can help them understand everything so I’m building them a school in my village. By the grace of God they will be in class next year.” he posted on Instagram.
Blackson’s making an amazing contribution to the landscape in Ghana whilst his colleagues who are actually here most of the time are obsessed only with ‘slaying’ and fighting over the same ‘Papa Nos’.
Kudos to Blackson for an admirable aim.
