Outspoken political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has revealed that he would have loved to use his platform to raise funds for ailing veteran actor Waakye if not for his affiliation to the NPP.

Veteran actor, Waakye, known in real life as Prince Yawson has been bedridden for a while with a serious ailment.
The actor, a known supporter of the ruling New Patriotic Party recently revealed that he did not receive a single donation in fundraising efforts initiated by his wife while he was sick and required treatment.
Reacting to this via Facebook, A Plus wondered why the NPP could not support a staunch member despite all that they had looted by virtue of their stay in power.

He wrote, ” I wish I could raise money for him like we always do but he is a strong NPP supporter. They should help him. All the money that you are stealing you can’t help your members”.
