Award winning Nigerian musician Burna Boy capitalized on his performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards to highlight police brutality in Nigeria.

Burna Boy wore a shirt with #StopPoliceBrutality boldly written on and he showed footage of the ongoing Protest in Nigeria. He performed his single the “Monsters You Made” featuring Chris Martin with a full band in stage.
At the end of the performance, Burna Boy called for an end to police brutality in Nigeria and stood with his associates as they held their fists in the air in solidarity with protesters who have lost their lives.
The 15th annual BET Hip Hop Awards was held on Tuesday night, October 17. The event awarded outstanding musicians across the globe. Click HERE to see list of winners.
