Old Video Of Kuami Eugene Saying He Will Compose Campaign Song For Any Political Party Pops Up

The internet never forgets indeed. Three times highlife artist of the year, Kuami Eugene has been vehemently denying knowledge that Happy Day, a song Sarkodie featured him on was meant for politics.

Eugene said he had know idea the song had lyrics which endorsed the NPP and Sarkodie tricked him into doing the song for his selfish gains.

The Open Gate singer even said he was scared this song might affect his music career badly. Well, we have seen another video where the same Kuami Eugene expressed readiness to compose a campaign song for any political party that will pay him well.

“It’s my job, I have to feed my family. It’s my job. Even if I’m paid to perform at a birthday party, I will.” he said.

He was heard in the video saying it is his job to do music and he has family to feed and will even perform at parties for these political leaders.

“If an NPP member sells tomato in the market do you think he or she will refuse to sell to an NDC member? Why don’t they want me to do my job? I think it’s not fair. If they think by doing my job I’m being political or side-lining some people, they are being greedy.” he concluded.
