There has not been a song with so much controversies this year than Sarkodie’s recently released Happy Day song which features Kuami Eugene.
All the controversy revolves around the second verse in the song where Sarkodie was clearly heard saying “Nana Toaso”, “The Battle is the Lord’s” and also praising the good works of NPP.
Kuami Eugene who sang the hook for the song claimed he had no idea the song had the above lyrics in and that he was tricked into doing the song.
Eugene also cried out that the song might hurt his music career. In a new video seen by this outfit, Kuami Eugene revealed to TV host, Roselyn Felli that the song is more of a motivational song than a campaign song for NPP.
It was said but NDC member, Sam George that Sarkodie was credited with a whooping GHc500,000 for the controversial verse he added in the song. No one has confirmed or denied the claims but Kuami has stated without mincing words that he will storm the house of Sarkodie for his share if he should confirm that money exchanged hands.
