Livingstone Etse Satekla is on social media complaining bitterly on how South African officials are denying him to fly back to Ghana because he refused to pay $150 for COVID-19 test.
Stonebwoy called their request unfair and thought it was ill treatment since he had taken a first test and it came out Negative. He also disclosed that another $150 will be taken at the Kotoka Airport so he sees no reason why he should pay in South Africa.
It would be recalled that the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo made it known that a mandatory COVID-19 test will be undertaken by anyone who travels to Ghana and the test costs $150 per person.
The BET award winning artiste explained that he paid 600 Rands for the same test in 24 hrs and does not see any reason why he should pay $150.
“I Pay 600 Rands to do corona test in SA less than 24hrs to fly back to GH.. But authorities in SA insist I Provide POP which is $150 mandatory corona test fee required by the Ghana authorities without Which I’m Not Boarding under the same 24hrs.. I’m confused.”
After he was called out to be broke and stingy, Stonebwoy echoed that his cry is not for himself but to the average Ghanaian who is made to pay such an amount.
