It was shocking in the courtroom in Botswana when a rape victim refused to testify against her abuser but instead asked the court to free him.
Zimbabwe news reported that the prosecutors were surprised when the rape victim(name withheld) refused to testify against one Oscar Chabaya, 34-years, but asked for his freedom and contact details.

The lady was said to have claimed the rapist was able to satisfy her s3xually and for that reason alone, the court should let him go.
Chabaya is a crook who has been raping tertiary students under the age of 24 since 2017. It was gathered that he gained entry to his victims’ homes through the window.

He search for cells phones , once inside, before raping his victims without protection and it was also said he bragged to his victims that he was good in bed before raping them.
He was arrested in April 2017 after police matched his DNA to an earlier robbery case in which he suffered a cut on his hand while escaping.
In spit of the new victim’s plea, Chabaya was prosecuted when it was proved beyond reasonable doubt that the lady was forced for the sexual intercourse.
