The former first lady who is bereaved Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has made first public appearance following her husband’s death.

President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has visited the former first lady at her resident as he commiserates with the family.

Photo from the meeting has the widow clad in black traditional cloth whilst Akufo-Addo wore a black suit as they mourn Rawlings.

This dispels claims that the former lady has been hospitalized following her husband’s sudden demise.

Former President Jerry John Rawlings died on Thursday, November 12th at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.

He was 73.
