Founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim failed to appear at the Kaneshie District Court yesterday because he was ‘seriously sick’, his lawyer revealed.

According to his lawyers, Bishop Angel Obinim had to be rushed to the hospital because he could not move and had his temperature shot up the roof hours to his court hearing.

The pastor is standing trail for forgery and publication of false information but the hearing was adjourned because of his health.

One of his legal team members, Louis Yiadom Aboagye pleaded with the presiding judge, Rosemond Dodua Agyiri that his client is seriously sick and cannot appear in the court.

She argued that the man of God’s sickness got worse on November 16 when he was traveling from Kumasi to Accra for the case.

The presiding judge, Rosemond Dodua Agyiri adjourned the case to a new date and wished him speedy recovery.
