As we try to deal with the passing of former President J.J Rawlings, people have made it their business to come up with lots of gibberish.

Claimed nation’s prophet Isaac Owusu-Bempah is championing that, always coming up with something that has nothing to do with the passing of Rawlings.

He recently made claims that he did not natural death and that he was killed by some people who hated him.

Today, the NDC Upper East Regional Secretary Donatus Akamugri has his own to add. He says the late former president would not be buried until the NDC comes back into power. He says if he had wanted to buried earlier, he would not have died a few weeks to elections.

“Rawlings must be buried when we are in power. He will be held if our political party does not come back to power to bury him. If he had wanted to be buried, then he should have been called to eternity before the period of elections. We had three weeks to elections when he died.“

He maintains that, the soul of Rawlings would not find rest until he is buried before elections.

“So, his soul will not rest in peace if we have to bury him when an election is just around. And he was eager to cast his vote for his party. And once he has passed away and the election has not been done, we believe that he wants us to win the election and bury him. Left with us, if we don’t win the election, Rawlings is supposed to be kept until NDC comes back to power and, then, we will bury him”.

Almost two weeks ago, the late President kicked the bucket after suffering a short illness.
