Funeral Home Worker In Trouble For Taking Selfie With Diego Maradona’s Corpse


A funeral home worker has landed in big trouble for taking a selfie of himself next to the lifeless body of late football icon, Diego Maradona.

The man shared the disturbing picture of him posing with his thumbs up next to the open coffin of Maradona on his social media page.

He was tasked to prepare the corpse of Maradona for the wake and he took the opportunity to take the selfie, reports say.

The owner of the funeral home, apologized for the employee’s reckless behavior and confirmed to local news that he has been sacked.

The selfie, which has gone viral has sparked outrage with many calling for the arrest of the funeral home worker.

Maradona was buried yesterday, November 26th, 2020 after a wake was performed for him at the presidential palace in Argentina.

The football legend died in his sleep after suffering a heart failure, an autopsy report confirm.
