Residents of Ayawaso West Wuogon in the Greater Accra Region have reportedly started complaining that they’re being spammed with text messages by their own MP.
Incumbent MP Lydia Alhassan is in the fight of her life to keep her seat as she fights off a stern challenge from actor turned politician John Dumelo.

As the challenge heats up, Alhassan is reportedly getting more and more desperate to retain her seat.
According to reports from her constituency, she’s taken to spamming constituents with messages to vote for her.
Remember, sometime back she also lost her cool and rained insults on Dumelo during a constituency debate.
It appears things are not going well for ‘Maa Lydia’.
