Actor Prince David Osei has congratulated Hon Lydia Alhassan for retaining her seat.

The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency has beaten his contender, John Dumelo with over 2000 votes to retain her seat.

Hon Lydia Alhassan had 39,851 whilst John Demelo had 37,778 electoral votes.

Colleague actor of Dumelo, Prince David Osei who had earlier campaigned for Hon Lydia Alhassan has congratulated her for beating John Dumelo.

Meanwhile, Dumelo is also being congratulated for giving his opponent who is the incumbent such a tight competition.

Apparently, the constituency has remained a stronghold for the NPP since 1996.
