Nigerian lawyer and author Reno Omokri says the reason many young Nigerian guys marry white women is because they don’t have to spend too much to marry them.
Omokri said the lists that Nigerian families give to young guys to buy before being able to marry can cause a young man to become impotent!
In case you’re not aware, it’s custom in Africa for a prospective groom to be given a tall list of items to purchase and present to the bride’s family before marriage rites can go ahead.

The list varies from family to family but determining what’s on it is the sole prerogative of the bride’s family and some families can go overboard and demand too much.
According to Omokri, these lists are getting out of hand and forcing some Nigerians to marry white ladies.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Nigerian women complain that too many young Nigerian men marry older White women. It is not always paper job. Have you seen the marriage list some Nigerian women give men? It is enough to make a man impotent! Some Nigerian love is becoming too expensive,”
