Chief Executive Officer of the Excellence in Broadcasting Network, Bola Ray, has been named as one of a select few AfroChampions Ambassador in Africa.
Bola Ray is to serve as AfroChampions Ambassador and Champion of the AfCFTA Vision Initiative & Celebration.
Bola Ray’s appointment was announced in a letter addressed to him from AfroChampions which GhanaCelebrities.Com has obtained, signed by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Obasanjo serves as patron of the AfroChampions organization.
According to the letter, “AfroChampions is a multi-stakeholder organization that has partnered the African Union and the AfCFTA Secretariat to foster the successful implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) and accelerate Africa’s Economic Integration and Transformation,”
Bola Ray has additionally been named an ‘AfCTA Visioneer’.
The letter elaborates that “AfCFTA Visioneers are selected from among those rare Africans whose work and achievements have best exemplified the Pan-African spirit needed to drive forward AfCFTA’s agenda of a single continental market, serving as a catalyst of total transformation of Africa on every front.”

The AfroChampions Initiative was formed by great business and political leaders to aid African growth – with Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote serving as President of the AfroChampions Club whilst former South African President Thabo Mbeki serves as President of the initiative.
Olusegun Obasanjo, former Nigerian President serves as patron as mentioned earlier. The initiative has named a slate of new important ambassadors all across the continent including Bola Ray.
