Sarkodie’s obsession with charging Ghanaians absurd amounts for his products continues with the release of new ‘Obidi’ sunglasses/shades.
The shades, which Sark has debuted on social media, are going for Ghc 200 a pair.
Sarkodie shared the shades on his IG and encouraged his fans (obviously only the super rich ones) to buy the shades.
“Y’all seen me rock it a couple times NOW you can get it too “OBIDI” Sunglasses by @railsoflondon @trendyrail www.railsoflondon.com,” he wrote.
Checks on the website indicate the shades are going for Ghc 200 a pair.
With these ridiculously priced shades coming just a week after the controversy surrounding his ridiculously priced rapperholic ticket prices, we can now confirm Sarkodie hates his normal fans.
If every single thing about money he does these days is priced in a way that they cannot afford it then he’s telling them they’re not part of his family.
Some of his own fans ridiculously defend him with the claim that the expensive nature of the products is due to his ‘good’ brand – but that’s only confirming that Sarkodie is branding himself for the middle class and rich and has no time for the poor!
It’s not a surprise for an artiste whose reputation is of someone who’s simultaneously greedy and stingy.
