The year definitely is not going well for loudmouthed politician Chairman Wontumi.
Apparently, some top NPP supporters are mounting pressure on to resign as the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party.

Wontumi as expected has remained adamant— he says he is not resigning today or tomorrow and anyone who brings it on, he would face them with equal strength.
He says he has done way too much for the party to succumb to all of that pressure so he is going to remain where he is.
“I am not moved by the numerous attempts by some New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters just to make e resign. I know for sure that some NPP executives are also in support of this flimsy agenda. I am not resigning I know for sure…”
He claims that one of their executives Kwame Bobie Ansah Owusu is dishonest and betrayed Nana Addo now he wants to do the same thing to him.
Wontumi says he would never allow for that to happen.
“Kwame Bobie Owusu never likes President Akufo Addo. Yes! He never likes him, he betrayed President Akufo Addo big time and now wants to betray me but I will face him boot for boot…”
