Awutu Senya East MP Hawa Koomson’s been trending most of the day due to an extremely shambolic performance she put up in front of Parliament’s appointments committee earlier today.
The Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture embarrassed herself massively with a pitiful performance as she failed to answer basic questions about the ministry she’s supposed to take over if confirmed.
Hawa has been roasted by social media for her performance – particularly her poor command of the English language and shallow grasp of fisheries concepts and definitions.
Social media has properly disciplined her for her shambolic performance.
Nana Aba Anamoah has seemingly joined the trolling after changing her twitter handle to ‘Hawa Koomson is my mentor,’
Anamoah has a carefully cultivated reputation as a sort of English savant, the one who corrects others on their pronunciations and doesn’t stand incorrect grammar.
It’s fairly likely despite declaring Hawa as her mentor, the comment was ‘tongue-in-cheek’, a dig at her instead.
She also posted in another tweet that she ‘Stans’ Hawa – meaning she’s a diehard fan of the fumbling minister.
