MP for Dome Kwabenya, Hon Lawyer Adwoa Safo and her husband Hanny Mouthiseb have welcomed their first child together as a couple.
The news was confirmed in parliament on Wednesday, 17th February 2021 during her vetting process.

Hon Adwoa Safo was spared a long vetting session because she’s a new mother and should nurse her baby.
Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka revealed that they would make it snappy for Adwoa Safo because of her situation as a nursing mother.

However, Adwoa Safo proved beyond doubt that she fits her position as the Minister designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection.

This comes after rumours in January that Adwoa Safo has flown outside the country to deliver and she was not going to show up for the swearing-in but she attended at the end.
