Haruna Iddrisu, the Minority leader of Parliament, raised concerns today after the State of The Nations Address by the President of Ghana.
Hon. Haruna Iddrisu questioned why Nana Akufo-Addo ignored and refused to address the growing concerns of LGBTQ in the country.

” Mr President, you failed to speak on the issues of LGBTQ+, the debt of Ghana and the killings during the 2020 election.” he echoed in his speech.
President Akufo-Addo did not touch on LGBTQ+ matters when he was addressing Ghana in his first State of The Nations Address in his second term as President.
The President of Ghana prior to his SONA addressed Ghanaians during a visit to the Methodist Church of Ghana that Same S*x marriage will not be legalized in his turner as President of Ghana but the parliament wanted a more concrete responds.
The member of Parliament opined that issues surrounding Lesbians, Gays, Bis*xuals and Transgenders have featured prominently in news and on social media for the past weeks and it was wrong for the President to give a blind eye.
