Political commentator Kwame A Plus has joined the many celebrities angry about Government’s recent decision to tax Ghanaians with the free water and electricity enjoyed during the COVID lockdown.

Few days ago, Ghanaians took to twitter to express their displeasure after minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that the free water and electricity tariffs will be paid.

John Dumelo said on social media that next time the government says something is free, he will advice citizens to flee, Prince David Osei and other celebrities also spoke against the new spike in taxes and A Plus is latest to add his voice.

According to A Plus, he thought the current president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo was the messiah going to save Ghana from its current economic hardship but he was wrong.

He called the president a serpent with cunning abilities stressing that the president pledged to protect the public purse but he has been attacking anyone fighting against corruption in Ghana.

A Plus made this assertion in an interview on Star FM on Wednesday.
