More information has popped up about the twin sisters of Tyrone Marghuy, one of the two Rastafarian boys denied admission into Achimota School.
Tyrone and his sisters are triplets – and thus are all about to be enrolled in Senior High School this year.
Whilst Achimota denied admission to Tyrone until he cut his hair, his twin sisters received admission into St John’s Grammar with no issues.
However, since Tyrone’s story became a national story, St John’s appears to be changing their minds about admitting his sisters.
His father on Joy News last night said that St John’s has informed him that Tyrone’s two sisters have to shave their hair or their admission would be revoked.
This could be pressure from NAGRAT (the National Association of Graduate Teachers) who have taken the Achimota issue ‘personally’ and vowed never to allow the boy school without shaving his head.
That pressure appears to have been mounted on St John’s as well.
