A popular Nollywood actor, Godwin Maduagu, is threatening to commit suicide over the societal sigma and backlash since his alleged gay s*x tape surfaced.

Godwin has been a trending topic since February when his supposed gay video went viral. According to the actor, there has been a negative tag to his name and its affecting him.

He recorded himself pleading to society to stop denting his image because he has had enough punishment from his actions.

The actor said many companies have refused to work with him because of the scandal and he has been left broke and depressed.

He said: “I am not happy because you guys are frustrating my life. I am getting depressed already. I thought I have moved on and everybody has moved on. I have not been getting jobs, I am getting broke. You know as a public figure you have to have money to take care of some personal expenses. Right now I don’t have any money.”
