Ghanaian rapper Flowking Stone has labeled the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA), which was been awarding musicians for over 20 years, as a fake.
In the view of the gifted rapper, the VGMA is one of the biggest scam that has gained roots in the Ghanaian music industry and destroying talents.
His bitter remarks shared on social media came after he was not listed among the final nominees for this year’s awards which was released yesterday.
The rapper claimed his efforts are not being appreciated by a bias industry which does not recognize quality.
Flowking Stone wrote; “It’s 2021 and VGMA is still Fake, but we Move and they say i should come bk home. To What? The bias industry? I do this for my fans who recognizes Quality. Thanks for supporting. Let’s keep pushing to the world.”
