After the cold murder of 10-year-old Ishmeal at Kasoa by two teenagers, some angry Ghanaians have called on authorities to clamp down on various quick money adverts on TV and radio.
They said the murder case in Kasoa should be blamed on the media houses who give airtime to Mallams and fraudsters to advertise their get rich quick schemes to everyone.

These advertizers claim they have the means to get people rich and it seems these teenagers fell for one of such commercials.
“This is what happens when our misleaders look on unconcerned for vices to become habits.TV stations show all sorts of things that induce people to get rich through rituals. Why won’t d young ones resort to such practices? D govt must wake up from its slumber,” one person wrote on social media.
