Sarkodie has taken to social media to mourn the passing of Michael Asiamah, the 13-year old boy who he helped raise $30,000 to fund his brain surgery.
Despite the hard work of Sark and many other celebrities to raise $30,000 for the boy’s surgery, he sadly passed away Friday.
His mother revealed the heartbreaking news on social media. According to her, the surgery had gone smoothly and Michael looked on the way to recovery.

Unfortunately he suddenly died yesterday.
Sarkodie, who shared the GoFundMe to raise money for Michael, took to social media to react.
He revealed he spoke to the boy who gave him hope but unfortunately, it didn’t work out.

“We spoke on the phone and your fierce energy gave me Hope you definitely coming back but I guess God had different plans ā¦ Rest well Michael,” he wrote.
