Tyrone Marghuy, young boy who was denied admission to Achimota School has revealed that his family has finally dragged the school to court.
The 17-year-old has shared a photo of himself at the court today, noting the case has begun. He captioned, ‘we are hoping for the best‘.
Tyrone Marghuy was refused admission into the prestigious Achimota School although he overqualified with six As.
The school authority refused him admission because of his dread locks.
Even though his family confirmed that he is a Rastafarian and his religion does not require him to keep his hair short, he was still denied the opportunity to enrol.
The family vowed to take the school on and they have!
