Tears Flow As Former NSMQ Contestant Dies Of Cancer Whilst Pursuing His PhD In Toronto

A former student of Chemu Senior High School, Francis Beamish Tetteh has died of Cancer in Canada.

Francis is said to have represented Chemu School in 2013 National Science and Maths Quiz.

Report says he graduated from the KNUST with First class in BSc Material Science and Engineering.

According to reports, Francis Beamish Tetteh was admitted to read MSc Mechanical Engineering at York University in Toronto, Canada but he was jumped to have his PhD course after he proved more than able in the master’s program.

However, he was diagnosed with cancer a year ago and he couldn’t survive it as he passed on on April 10th 2021.

Report says whilst he was undergoing treatment, he passed his qualifying examination, authored research papers, and fulfilled his Teaching Assistantship duties.
