Uncle Winifred, the manager for gospel musician Sonnie Badu, has described Kofi Kinaata as an over-hyped musician.
The artiste manager claimed Kofi Kinaata does not deserve to be called a star because he is a one way famed for just songs and nothing else.
In his view, a star is one who is versatile. becoming a star takes a lot of work, attitude in public and alone plus many things Kofi Kinaata lacks.
He added that Kofi Kinaata’s songs have become one way with the same rhythm and story line just like Fameye and Bisa Kdei.

“It takes how you brand yourself, it takes how you project yourself outside. You see Sarkodie Project himself? If Sarkodie comes here and Kofi Kinaata also comes, who will have the masses following him? Sarkodie and Shatta Wale have the attitude, they’ve branded themselves but Kofi Kinaata hasn’t done same,” he said in an interview.
