In the media space, poaching is allowed. It is normal to find your favorite OAP switching from one station to another.
What makes the transition a problem is circumstances that surround the exit. Most times, TV and radio personalities quit their jobs and work for other media networks because of ill treatment or misunderstandings.
This week started with a resignation letter from Natalie Fort to Media General and TV3 and her new contract with EIB Network’s GHone TV.
“RESIGNATION NOTICE | As I resign from TV3 with effect from 5th April 2021, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Management of Media General for an incredible 4 years with the firm. I am grateful for the platform to kickstart my Media journey, the opportunities granted me have been transformative; and to my colleagues, I’m honoured to have learnt from such an experienced team. The memories will forever remain with me. I wish Media General the very best in the years ahead. With Gratitude, Natalie Fort” part of her letter read.
After receiving warm welcome from Serwaa Amihere and Nana Aba Anamoah, Natalie Fort has given hint on why she quit working for TV3.
In a new video shared on her social media page, Natalie was heard saying “…some birds are not meant to be caged” adding that “…why settle when you can be the best you and live your best life.”
Meanings have been read into her post. Social media users are alleging that TV3 was hindering the growth of Natalie and she had no option than to break free.
