Efia Odo has shot down orders from the Ghana police Service to prevent the #FixTheCountry demonstration from occurring in Ghana.
A letter from the Ghana Police Service refused to grant permission for the peaceful demonstration planned to come off on May 9, 2021 on the premise that protestors cannot adhere to the COVID-19 protocols.
Media personality and socialite Efia Odo has raised points to counter the directive from the police service.
She is of the view that the police did not prevent government officials from campaigning during the 2020 election or prevent rich people to host mammoth birthday parties so they will not prevent them exercising their rights.
She tweeted, ”The police didn’t stop our leaders from campaigning during COVID and they won’t stop us from protesting against bad leadership! #FixTheCountryNow”
