Captain Smart has reacted following news that he’s lost a Ghc 1m defamation case and he could not care less.

The High Court in Accra ruled a Ghc 1m defamation suit in favour of Professor Frimpong Boateng, a former Environmental Minister who had apparently been accused of engaging in galamsey by Captain Smart.

Whilst people are scared that he could be in financial trouble due to the ruling, an unmoved Smart is out there showing he’s not bothered one bit.

In fact, he has called on ABN to extend his suspension for more months because he is very comfortable with his current situation.

Smart said he is a politically suspended journalist and that he’s fine with his political suspension being extended for more months.

Since being taken off air by the NPP for attacking their officials, Smart has gone independent and running his own tv station.
