A sakawa boy in Kumasi has died after being shot in cold blood.

The young man, identified as Akwasi Boakye, was into internet fraud, locally known as ‘Sakawa’.

He had apparently hit big with a deal and made lots of cash which he used to purchase a Range Rover.

However on that same day, he was killed, reportedly by someone very close to him.

According to a report by Angel Fm in Kumasi, Akwasi Boakye lives with some close friends in a rented apartment.

Around 2am the day after he bought the car, he received a call to come out to his car.

He came out only to be met by an unknown gunman who shot him several times.

One of his friends has been named as the main suspect and is allegedly currently on the run.
